INTERACTIVE DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM
International standardized Geriatric Assessment Tests and Comprehensive Assessment Result:
The program automatically generates a comprehensive assessment result containing patient data, mode of assessment, mode of admission, cognitive function and differential diagnosis of dementia, psychic situation, arousal and vigilance, activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living, nutritional status and body-composition, mobility and risk for falls, sensory perception and pain, calculated renal function, incontinence screening, and information concerning the social situation. The geriatrician just needs to add some remarks or the medical procedure to complete the report.
The easy to use relational database collects data in more than 1000 fields per patient and archives all results electronically.
Most important functions: navigate through records, create, edit, and clear records, password protection on different security levels, printout of all layouts, export of any data in different formats, import of data, user-definable value-lists for selected fields, complex requests to the database for any field, sort data by any field, edit text with drag and drop, recovery of damaged records, zoom function on screen and others.
There have been some user-definable fields included in some layouts.
It is possible to translate English text of questionnaires for all relevant tests to a different language.
